You need a new project to work on! Let's face it- you've managed to fit in your new workout routine. There's still room for more! Here's why music is for life- not just for Xmas.

Hi!
I'm Scott
You have what it takes to be a Superstar and my job is to help you on your way.
FOMO (Fear of missing out) Christmas and all the festivities that surround the season of giving, is the perfect reminder for people that music takes centre stage. We all have that one song, Carol or melody played that makes us connect and feel like Christmas has truly begun.
There's always the occasion, when the conversation arises and someone mentions that they 'always wanted to learn to play the Piano or Guitar', so they could play along with their favourites. The Piano sat in the lobby of the Christmas Party that calls out for someone to play it. And everyone looks at each other and says they wish they hadn't quit lessons when they were younger.

Remember the time when you encouraged a child to play for everyone when guests came round, followed by the quiet, awkward moment when people reminisce & reflect. They realise that they made a commitment with playing when they were younger too- but never continued themselves. They became despondent and gave up. Let life get in the way. They realised that the music they love to listen and celebrate with takes time and effort to learn to master. And that takes effort, hard work & resilience.

One thing we are all good at is quitting- it's always harder when you have to commit and put in the graft to make sure success happens. Being a musician is like a fine wine, or a mature cheese. These delicaces didn't appear over night. They take years to perfect.

You love music
You love to listen to music, right? Relax, unwind & let the strain of the day slip away.

Then your favourite track comes on. Your face lights up & you start to sing out at the top of your voice. You go to the keys and start playing along, adding air drum fills in between. It feels awesome & you ask yourself again- why did I quit?!
Isn't it funny how adults encourage children to 'never give up' and teach them to be determined. Explain they'll be moments when they may falter, or fall along the way. They say there'll be times when you feel like you wanna throw in the towel & quit there and then. But when you embrace your commitment to improve- you'll see measures of success in the smallest form.
Pause for a moment & take some of your own advice!
The great news is- It's never too late to finish what you started.... and you're mates will be wowed by your musical greatness when you surprise them at the next do too!
